Luckily, tomorrow is the last day of classes before break. I cannot wait to be able to relax. I am not going anywhere warm for break, but I am okay with that. On Friday, I am going to Boston for a couple of days and from there I am going to New York City. It should be a lot of fun! Up to this point, I am doing well in my classes. In my human ecology class we got our progress reports and I could not believe the curve he gave us. The class average is a 50. My average is a 60, which is the equivalent to a A-.
Senior Seminar class is really testing my creativity! At first, I was nervous because I do not think I am a very creative person, but I ended up enjoying it. If you give me an idea then I can be much more creative than sitting there with no ideas. Today, we had to come up with a haiku. The first emotions that I felt were anger that it was so nice out a couple days ago and today I had to wear boots and my winter jacket. So, I wrote about the weather.
When is Spring coming?
The cold weather has me running.
To Florida I go.
I am not really going to Florida, but I would like to! It was challenging to come up with lines with 5 or 7 syllables. Most of the statements I wanted to make were more than what I needed. Once I made my first one, it was easier to come up with more. I had to get in a open mode and let everything else go. Once I did that, I was able to relax and come up with ideas.

Thursday March 7th
Thank god next week is the last week before break. I need a break! Even though I am not going anywhere warm, I am ready for a week to relax and catch up with everything I have to do. I did well on my History of Psychology test and paper, which made me happy because I have not been doing well in Human Ecology. The average grade in Human Ecology is around a 50, which is unbelievable. I really have to work hard, especially because I am not used to getting such low grades. I enjoyed the exercise we did today in Senior Seminar. At first, I got nervous because I had no idea what to draw! Maybe that means I need to be in an open mode more often. Once I relaxed and got in the right mind set, I seemed more creative than before. I do not have a lot of talent when it comes to creativity, but I realized when I want to come up with creative ideas, I need to put myself in another mind set.

Tuesday March 5th
Last week was such a hectic week! Although I did not get my two tests back yet, I think I did well. Hard work pays off! I cannot believe next week is our last week before spring break and halfway through the semester. It is hard to believe graduation is in a couple of months. I am in the process of writing a paper for my Juvenile Justice class that calls for me to try to use my creativity. As I learn more in senior seminar, I realized how much I use my creativity. I never thought I was very creative, but I learned that I am more creative than I thought. After watching the video, I came to the conclusion that I need to be in open mode more than I am. I am in closed mode a lot because I am getting too wrapped up with classes and work. If I am in open mode more often, it will allow me to be more relaxed and maybe even get more accomplished.
In Boston, I saw all kinds of "different" people. There were people dressed up in different costumes running up and down Massachusetts Ave. They were very different and were making a scene. I saw one group of them dressed up as aliens and five minutes later I saw a Scoobydoo group. They had to have a lot of confidence to do that! I would never have been able to dress up, run up and down one of the busiest streets in Boston while yelling! Everyone was staring, but it was funny. I wondered why they would do that, but maybe they made some kind of game out of it, I don't really know!
